..COACH ROSSMAN Head Coach

Coach Rossman graduated from Kellyville High School in 1992 and played baseball for 3 years.  He played college baseball for both Carl Albert State College and Oklahoma Christian.  He completed is college education and graduated from Oklahoma State University in the fall of 1999.   

Coach Rossman has 12 years of baseball coaching experience.  He was the head coach of the JV team at Jenks High School from 1999-2000.  In 2000 he became an Assistant Varsity Coach at Kellyville High School until 2001 when he then returned to Jenks High School taking an Assistant Varsity Coaching position and remained with Jenks until 2005.  Coach Rossman then moved to Glenpool where he was hired as the Head Varsity Coach and remained there until 2008 when he and his family moved to Sapulpa.   

Coach Rossman was the Assistant Varsity Coach in Sapulpa from 2008 until the fall of 2011.  He took on the role as the Head Varsity Coach of Sapulpa after former Head Coach, Seth Shibley moved into an administrative position with Sapulpa Public Schools.   

Coach Rossman and his wife Lisa have two children, a 9 year old son Cody and their 6 year old daughter Jaselyn.  Family is very important to Coach Rossman and he loves spending his time with his family.

 

 

 

..COACH GRANT HORN Assistant Coach
            

Grant Horn was born July 12, 1984 in Pawnee, OK and grew up in the Creek County Sapulpa/Kiefer area.  He graduated from Glenpool High School in 2002 as a 4 year baseball letterman.  Coach Horn played college baseball at NEO A&M from 2002-2003 and then for Crowder College in Neosho, MO from 2003 to 2004.  Coach Horn then finished his college education at Oklahoma State University, graduating in the Spring of 2011.  Coach Horn also umpired for 7 years at both Glenpool and the All-Star Complex. 

Coach Horn and his wife Bethany have one son, Easton Grant.  He enjoys his canoe, fishing, hunting, and working on houses.  Coach Horn loves what he does as a profession and says not a day goes by that he doesn't thank the good Lord for the opportunity. 

 

 

..COACH McLAUGHLIN Pitching Coach
Joey McLaughlin was selected as the Oklahoma State High School Baseball Player of the year in 1974.  In June of 1974 he was selected by the Atlanta Braves as the 26th overall pick in the Major League Baseball draft. 

After just 3 years in the minor leagues McLaughlin made his major league debut in June of 1977.  McLaughlin went on to pitch two years for the Braves in the Major Leagues.  In December of 1979, McLaughlin was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays for Chris Chambliss. 

McLaughlin spent four successful years with Toronto and led the team in appearances and saves on more than one occasion.  In 1984 McLaughlin signed with the Texas Rangers and pitched for the team for one season. 

McLaughlin's overall career statistics include 29 wins, 36 saves, a 3.85 earned run average.  McLaughlin appeared in 250 games and struck out 268 batters over the course of his 7 year major league career.

 

..COACH WILSON Junior Varsity Coach

Coach Wilson graduated from Okmulgee High School, Carl Albert Junior College and Tabor College.  Played baseball and football in high school and played baseball in college for 4 years. 

Graduate Assistant in baseball at Southwest Texas State University. 

Coach Wilson has been coaching baseball and football at Sapulpa for 23 years. 

My family consists of my beautiful wife Pam, my darling daughter Jamie and my only son, Leland.

 

..COACH THOMPSON Assistant Coach

 

Coach Thompson graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1987.  He went on to play football at Bethany College and Southwest Missouri State. 

After college Coach Thompson was in different training camps in the NFL and the CFL as a punter and a kicker.  He has coached football at Sapulpa High School for 14 of the last 16 years.  In that time he has helped numerous local punters and kickers move on to play college football on scholarships.
